After two years in Eindhoven
Yvon Mvogo is leaving RB Leipzig for good after five rather unlucky years. The 28-year-old goalkeeper is transferred to FC Lorient. The French first division presented the four-time Swiss national player on Wednesday evening, the contract on the west coast runs until June 30, 2024.
For two seasons, Mvogo was loaned to PSV Eindhoven, where he started the first year but was replaced by Joël Drommel (25) last season. A total of 54 appearances for PSV compared to just 19 in the previous three years at Leipzig. Péter Gulácsi (32) is also set there in the future, which is why RB haven’t put any obstacles in the way of the Swiss.
