« His rhythm and his timing on the jump and his strong presence on the field make him special support in order, » said the Bundesliga Club on Saturday. The director general of the Union, Horst Heldt, added: « Frederik is an exceptional goalkeeper who, with his quality, his experience and his personality, is a key figure for our team. We are very happy that he continues to get involved in the Union. Together, we want to succeed in the future and trust his support. »

Rönnow himself said to his extension: « For me, the union is not only an association, but a place where I am not only seen and appreciated as a player, but also as a person. The proximity of fans is something very special – their support can be felt in each game, every moment. The cohesion of the second family and the confidence that feels completely, I extended to myself: at home – like a second family in which I feel completely and I arrived.
